Dear Farm Members,
As a white owned and predominantly white-operated farm business, located on unceded Nisenan land, it is not lost on us that farming in our country has historically and continuously relied on the unpaid/underpaid labor of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). Black farmers and Black communities in particular are consistently denied funding and financial aid, access to fresh food, air, land, and clean water, worker protections, living wages, healthcare, and more - the list stretches on. We’re proud of the supportive, sustainable environment we’ve been able to create for our workers, but we recognize that it doesn’t mean much if we aren’t actively fighting for the rights of farmers of color in our community and across the nation. We can do so much better.
As a farm, we stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and those currently protesting and seeking justice over the death of George Floyd and many other Black Americans at the hands of the police. We commit to continuously educating ourselves about the discrimination that Black Americans constantly face, engaging in hard conversations, and to taking action in the pursuit of equity and social justice for BIPOC everywhere. .
This moment in time offers us all an incredible opportunity to drive forward authentic, lasting change in our country, and we encourage all of you who are able to get involved and make this happen. To fight and dismantle these flawed systems is very, very hard work, but it is work that we absolutely can and must do.
Respectfully,
Your Mountain Bounty Farmers

HOW TO PICK UP YOUR CSA SHARES:
1. Check the delivery list each week and initial for your order on the delivery list. As always, please only take what has been delivered for you.
2. We ask that you only touch the box/bag/bouquet that are a part of your order.
3. We are asking that you pick up your box from the site and take it home with you to prevent the amount of time you are spending at your CSA site. If you’d like to pack it into a reusable bag, please feel free to do that at your car. Please bring your empty box back each week for reuse.
4. If you are sick, please send a friend to pick up for you and let them know about the pick up procedure.
5. All produce has been packed by farm employees who are in good health and following our food safety policies.
If there's a problem, please take what we’ve delivered for you and contact us by email or phone.
If you share your subscription, please make sure you check in every week about who will pick up so one of you does not accidentally take someone else's order.
