When you join our vegetable CSA your Farm Box begins the following week

During the Summer months (May - November), we put tremendous care and skill into growing superb produce for you. The amount and variety of produce increases over the course of the season. Each week we harvest the crops that are perfectly ready to eat and send an email newsletter before you pickup with the box contents, farm news and recipes.

During the winter (December - April) vegetable shares are collected, packed, and partially grown, here at Mountain Bounty Farm. We gather the remainder of the produce from a small handful of trusted Northern California organic farms who can do winter production. Our winter share partner farms include: Full Belly Farm, Riverdog Farm, Terra Firma Farm, Pinnacle Organics, Coke Farm, Feeding Crane Farm, Starbight Acres, and FogDog Farm.

FOCUS ON STAPLE VEGETABLES

We put a lot of emphasis on making sure our customers eat what they want to eat. After 25 years of listening to our customers we understand that people want staples vegetables and strive to give them as often as possible. In the summer, these include lettuce, carrots, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, squashes, and greens like kale and chard.
