Offering CSA pick-up locations in Nevada City, Grass Valley and surrounding areas, the Lake tahoe basin, Truckee, and Reno!
Each week, we carefully select a variety of vegetables, fruits, and flowers to fill your box, ensuring that you have a steady supply of staple vegetables and fruit, plus some variety to help you try new things!

Our farm is located high on the forested contours of the San Juan Ridge near Nevada City, California. We are the oldest and largest CSA farm in the Sierras, and we have been providing our community with high-quality produce since 1997.

Nestled along the Yuba River, Mountain Bounty Farm grows a great variety of exceptional organic produce for our local community.
Mountain Bounty Farm is an 18 acre organic family farm located high on the forested contours of the San Juan Ridge near Nevada City, California. Founded in 1997 by John Tecklin, Mountain Bounty has since become an increasingly collaborative effort, with a team of farmers making decisions and working together.
We aim to create a lasting legacy of land security through community support, which is why we partnered with the Bear Yuba Land Trust (BYLT), Sierra Harvest, BriarPatch Food Co-op, and Tahoe Food Hub to buy and hold our farmland in perpetuity.

Our year-round CSA offers a variety of exceptional local and organic produce, delivered to your neighborhood! Our vegetable shares come in two convenient sizes, with flexible billing options, and unlimited vacation holds. We offer seasonal fruit, flower, and mushroom shares from our Farm Partners.
We also sell our produce at our favorite local establishments including Briarpatch Co-op, Mother Truckers, Three Forks, Heartwood, and more!
Throughout the summer, you can also find us at the Nevada City Farmers Market in Downtown Nevada City each Saturday. Come early, you don’t want to miss our incredible strawberries!
