Seasonal Flower Shares

This season's flower offerings will be lovingly grown and designed by Sweet Roots Farm in Grass Valley. Deena and Robbie started the farm in 2010 and currently grow certified organic cut flowers and nursery starts.

EARLY SPRING FLOWER share

The Early Spring Flower Share runs for 6 weeks from the weeks of February 18th - March 27th

Team Sweet Roots has tucked many thousands of bulbs, corms, and plants into the fields and greenhouses for a colorful spring abundance. Spring flowers have the best vase life and are the right kind of bright just as the winter is feeling long. With a planned start of February 18th, we will harvest tulips, ranunculus, anemones, stock, Icelandic poppies, narcissus, daffodils, dianthus, eucalyptus and other winter greenery for your hand tied custom bouquet.

COST: $32 per bouquet // $192 for the whole season (6 weeks)

Tips for long lived flowers include re-cutting the stems with sharp, clean snips before placing them in fabulously clean water (clean enough to drink). Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Downsize the bouquet as some flowers fade, putting the happy stems into clean water with a fresh snip.

For a unique design try placing each flower at a different height in the vase, it will give the arrangement movement and interest.
