Mountain Bounty Farm

Happy 2012 from Mountain Bounty

We’re looking forward to a fantastic 2012 … beautiful veggies, fruits, and flowers, happy members, and new sites! On the farm we are already busy preparing for the coming season. Thank you to all our members – for your continued support of Mountain Bounty and your support of local farms and farmers. Sign up for our winter season now! It’s underway – but you can sign up at any point during the season.

Want Free Veggies?

Receive one free week of veggies this coming Summer 2012 season for each new Reno member you sign up! It’s easy: 1 – Share the news that Mountain Bounty’s CSA opens 2 new sites in Reno beginning Thursday, January 19 (see sidebar for site details).
2 – Have your Reno friend sign up online for our veggie share by February 2.
3 – Then, you call (530)292-3776 or email us (info@mountainbountyfarm.com) and let us know who your Reno friend is. We’ll credit you one week of veggies for the Summer 2012 Season.

For more info, contact Kathy, the CSA Manager, at the contacts above. PLEASE NOTE: in order to be included on the first Reno delivery, Jan. 19, please sign up by Thursday, January 12. And this incentive is only available until Feb. 2.

Who We Are

Mountain Bounty Farm is a 15-acre family farm located high on the forested contours of the San Juan Ridge near Nevada City, California. We grow an incredible diversity of vegetables, fruits and cut flowers for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

The farm is run by John Tecklin and Angie Tomey, who share a love for the land and a passion for eating good food. Each year we welcome 5 interns to join our crew and share in the experience of farming. 2011 is our 14th season!
