We offer a winter vegetable share in
cooperation with Riverdog
Farm in the Capay valley,
where mild winters allow
harvest of sweet
and tender winter

Winter Vegetables
Here’s the list of produce for the winter program (of
course not all crops are successful in a given season): arugula, asparagus, beets,
broccoli, Brussels sprouts,
cabbage, carrots, chard,
collard greens, cauliflower,
fava beans, fresh onions,
green garlic, kale, leeks,
lettuce, mustard greens,
parsley, potatoes, radishes,
red daikon, salad mix, spinach, stir fry
mix, shelling peas, sugar snap peas, turnips,
winter squash, dried tomatoes, dried fruit, walnuts, pomegranates,
and a few oranges during a successful season.
Standard Vegetable Share
Most members receive the standard share,
which averages $22.50 per week ($25.50/week to Truckee)
(about a grocery bag full of produce). Wednesday November 19th to May 20th 2009, 24 weeks of delivery. No deliveries Nov 26th, Dec 24th, and Dec 31st..
Large Vegetable Share
The large share, double the standard share, provides a generous variety of vegetables
for a family of 4 or a couple of serious veggie eaters and
averages $40.50 per week ($46.38/week to Truckee). Same dates as standard share.
