The Winter Fruit Share

Grown by Chaffin Family Orchards in Oroville, where a unique microclimate allows them to ripen citrus on the tree until harvest, without freezing. Chaffin will provide 24 weeks of organic citrus and a few other fruits from their nearly century-old family farm... their kids are the fourth generation! You can expect Mandarin and navel oranges, ruby and white grapefruit, and lemons. This winter fruit share is primarily a citrus share, but there may be persimmons and pomegranates in November. And at the end of the season there may be apricots and cherries, weather permitting.

Each week you will receive 6+ pounds of fruit for $14.25 per week. For Truckee shares there is an additional $2 per week to cover delivery costs. 24 weeks of delivery, Wednesday November 19th to May 20th, 2009. No deliveries Nov 26th, Dec 24th, and Dec 31st.
