Winter Season Week 1, Nov 30 & Dec 1
Hi Mountain Bounty Farm Fans!
(PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH YOUR SHARE PARTNER IF YOU HAVE ONE! THEY DIDN’T GET IT!)
Thank you so much for joining us as a member. We’re super excited to start the winter season! As we enter into the colder months and the wonderful holiday season, you’ll find some gorgeous yummy produce from our friends at Riverdog Farm in the Capay Valley and our awesome local fruit partners.
Each week, you’ll receive an email on Tuesdays with a reminder to pick up your box and a link here to our blog with the veggie box and fruit bag surprises so you can better plan your winter meals. I’m also excited to share a variety of scrumptous recipes to satisfy your palates and tummies, using some of the produce of the week. If you have any recipes or ideas you would like to share, you can post them here or send us an email at the address below!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me, Kathy, the CSA Manager, with any questions or problems: (530)292-3776 or info@mountainbountyfarm.com

Recipes & Ideas
Kathy’s favorite Kale Salad recipe (no cooking required!) (You’ll want to eat it every night – you could even use chard in this recipe!)
Arugula (or Spinach!) Salad with Beets & Goat Cheese
Caramelized Turnips (a great way to eat your turnips!)
Winter Squash Casserole (I made this for Thanksgiving and it was the most popular dish on the table! Yes, it is a little decadent I know – but even known squash haters changed their minds about this veggie.)
